Robert Campbell
Non-Executive Board Director
Robert has worked in advertising as a copywriter, creative director, agency manager, and creative entrepreneur for nearly 25 years.
He has won most major industry creative awards, chaired global and domestic award juries and committees, written in trade and national press and commented on television and radio shows.
Robert has founded two major London advertising agencies – the Banks Partnership in 1990 (now FCB) and Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe (RKCR) in 1992.
RKCR became one of the most successful advertising agencies in the UK in the 1990s, with major clients such as Virgin, Marks and Spencer, Danone and Lloyds Bank. After six years the company was bought by Young and Rubicam. Robert worked there as Creative Director and Vice Chairman of Y&R Europe.
In 2003, he joined McCann Erickson London as Executive Creative Director and Vice Chairman of McCann EMEA. During his time there he restructured and repositioned the agency. He strengthened the creative output of the agency with award winning work for MasterCard and American Airlines.
Since 2006 Robert has been working on independent projects which include the re-launch of Hammer Horror, a west end musical, and various environmental projects.
Robert is also a trustee for Peace One Day, the charity whose goal is to create a global day of peace on 21st September.
